Waitlist privacy notice
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This notice explains what happens to the information you give us when you join the Vernissage waitlist or visit vernissageai.com. A full privacy policy will replace it when Vernissage launches.
Who we are
Vernissage is operated by Vernissage LLC (“we”, “us”). For anything about your data, email help@vernissageai.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist:
- your work email address;
- your first and last name;
- your company and department;
- whether you ticked the box to receive product news, and when.
When you visit the site:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records each request: your IP address, browser, the page requested and the time. We keep these logs for 30 days to run and secure the site. When you join the waitlist, our own logs record internal reference numbers, never your details, and we keep them for 90 days.
- Analytics. We count page views with PostHog in cookieless mode, and how many visitors open the waitlist form, are asked for a work email and send the form. We don’t record what you type. It places no cookies or similar identifiers on your device, discards your IP address, and never receives your email address. Our analytics contain no information that identifies you.
- A security check on the sign-up form. When you use the form, Amazon Web Services checks in the background that your browser isn’t an automated script, and may ask you to solve a puzzle. It stores one security cookie that shows your browser passed. The form needs it to work, and it isn’t used for tracking.
We don’t use advertising trackers, and we don’t sell or rent your information.
Why we use it
- To run the waitlist: to confirm your sign-up, contact you when we can offer you access, and set up your organization when you’re invited. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the waitlist you asked to join.
- To send product news, only if you ticked the box. You can unsubscribe from any of these emails. Our legal basis is your consent.
- To keep the site working and secure, including blocking abuse of the sign-up form. Our legal basis is our legitimate interests.
- To understand how many people visit and sign up, using counts that don’t identify you. Our legal basis is our legitimate interests.
Who processes it for us
| Provider | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Loops | Stores waitlist contacts and sends our emails. It records whether you open our emails and click their links. | United States |
| PostHog | Anonymous site analytics, without cookies | United States |
| Amazon Web Services | Hosts the site, checks the sign-up form for abuse, and passes your sign-up to Loops; it stores the server logs. We don’t keep a separate copy of your waitlist details. | United States |
These providers process your information only on our instructions. If you’re outside the US, our providers transfer your information to the US under safeguards required by law, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist details: until we invite you or you ask us to delete them. If you opted in to product news, we keep your contact until you unsubscribe. If you didn’t, we delete your details 365 days after we invite you or after Vernissage opens to everyone, whichever comes first.
- Server logs: 30 days, and our own logs 90 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop sending you product news, by emailing help@vernissageai.com. Deleting your details removes you from the waitlist. Every product-news email also has an unsubscribe link.
If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also object to our use of your information and complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The waitlist is for businesses, not for people under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect children’s information.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll email waitlist members.
